'Pathaan Day' to be celebrated across India as Shah Rukh Khan-starter crosses ₹500 cr

Looks like the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan has decided not to stop when it comes to breaking records. Entering its third Wednesday, the film is still holding steady at the box office, grossing Rs 970 crore worldwide.

As the film crosses Rs 500 crore net in India, Yash Raj Films has decided to hold a #PathaanDay on February 17 with tickets priced at just Rs 110. Pathaan, third Wednesday, grossed Rs 3.60 crore net in India (Hindi – Rs 3.50 crore, all dubbed versions – Rs 0.10 crore).

The film has now registered $44.50 million in overseas territories alone, while the net collection in India stands at Rs 502.45 crore (Hindi - Rs 484.85 crore, dubbed - Rs 17.60 crore). The total worldwide gross is Rs 970 crore (gross budget in India: Rs 605 crore, overseas: 365 crore).
